Honestly, it’s one of those shops where the second you walk in you feel like you’re about to spend £7 on something you’ve never heard of but now must have or you’ll die. Walls are stacked floor to ceiling with vitamins, weird teas, and bags of seeds that look like bird food but will apparently fix your gut lining.

Staff are lovely - if you ask for anything even vaguely ailment-y, they’ll vanish into the back and return with a tincture, a warning, and a life story.

Prices are a tad steeper than your local Londis, but you’ll convince yourself it’s cheaper than therapy. Plus, the spices selection alone is worth a browse.
