Café Impromptu

Impromptly isn't a word apparently.

We've only ever gone in here on purpose, which maybe takes something away from the name a bit for us, but does make for a bit of a lol when we're wandering over to it promptly.

Really good food & drink here, I had kippers here for breakfast one morning, bloody good lads. Smoked Kippers always remind me of my childhood home as when mum cooked them the entire house would smell like smoked kippers. So it was a bit like that scene in Ratatouille where the critic is taken back to his childhood after eating Remy/Alfredo's food. Except where in Ratatouille he's taken back to the French countryside eating his mum's cuisine, instead, it's a 3(ish) bed semi in Chad.

But either way - this place is great, and the Hopton Estate (which this is part of) is doing some really great things for the town and putting some actual decent effort into what they're doing which is brill to see.
